– Writing Guide & Editing Requirements –
Tips for Writers
DO NOT write your article directly into the Submission form. Reather write your article post using a word document and save it. Then copy and paste text into the Submission Form. This will ensure that you do not loose your works should the internet cut out or something. This will also make it much easier to edit your work and revisit it later for further edits if needed.
Please make sure that your images are not copywritten and please provide links to all references in you introduce in your post. We allow up to 6 images to be loaded at the time of submission. We will select the images to be used. We may request that you submit other images if we feel that the images you submitted are inappropriate. We may also ask for verification that the images are your own or that you have permission to use them for publishing purposes.
Self edit and even have someone else read and proof your work before submitting to ECS Magazine. We simply do not have time to do the editing for you. Any articles that are seen to have poor spelling, grammer, or punctuation will not be published and you will be asked to correct them. So double down on the editing part before submission of your work. Don’t worry, we will let you know why, if we decide not to publish your work.
They say that paragraphes longer than 3-4 sentences discourage people from reading more. So keep your run-on sentences to a minimum.
If you are presenting things as “facts” then please provide reference note and sourcing information so that your ready can find out more information. We will be fact checking articles and this will make our jobs easier. We will not publish articles that do not include links to sources of information presented. We suggest using the notation method, where you place a subtext number or notation mark wherever you present facts or quotes, and then include a notation box or space at the end or your article.
BE SURE TO SAVE your original article file for quick access and to help you build up an archive of written works for later sharing. Keep any images you present in that file as well.
That just about covers it. Please read all the information presented on this page BEFORE submitting your works to make sure that everyone is on the same page in terms of our guides and regulations.
Thanks so much for sharing your skills and knowledge with the ECS community. You are appreciated more than you may realize.

We choose to use this space to build up.

Substack has many options to help you share your insights on many topics.
Thank you for your understanding and helping ECS ensure that our content remains uplifting and inspirational.
Getting Paid
A word on Energy Exchange
We know that it takes a few hours to research, write, edit and submit an article to ECS, and so there needs to be a reward structure for your offering beyond a “thank you” and a pat on the back. Although those are definitely nice!
One of the things we are most excited about is the ability to reward our contributors with financial benefits and energy exchange. This is something that we have built into our business model, for we know full well how much being compensated for your time, energy, and effort, can make a difference in the lives of our community.
At this time we are unable to make financial rewards (Money) in exchange for contributions. We do have this set as a goal for us in the future. This will take time. To suggest that we can be in the position to at this point would be akin to asking a baby to break-dance.
In this way, ECS is still a baby. It is going to take time and energy to build it up to the point where we are able to share resources coming in. And as mentioned, this is already built into the business model of ECS.
We can, however, provide a payment structure that will benefit members. We created the Current’See energy exchange program.
With the Current’See program we can offer rewards ECS Community Members with points, we call them CSP’s (Current’See Points).
There is a full list of the ways Emergence Members earn CSP’s that is being created now and will be available for review upon the premier of ECS to the world.
As it pertains to submitting articles and content for ECS Magazine, the payment structure is as followed:
*These amounts are for demonstration purposes only until the site is officially premiered on a future date.
– Submitting an article = +25 CSP’s.
– A published article = +100 CSP’s
– If that article gets “Featured” = +100
– If you share the published article via your other social media channels = +10 CSP’s
– If that article gets published outside of ECS, by ECS
via our other social media platforms = +25 for each platform it is shared with, each time it is shared. So if we decided to share your article to facebook, instagram, and X (formally Twitter) then you will be +75 CSP’s.
What are CSP’s good for?
You can use these CSP’s for discounts on many goods and services found throughout the ECS Marketplace. You can also use CSP’s to purchase tickets to upcoming ECS Presents… events, such as festivals and retreats. CSP’s will grant access to digital downloads and certain “Hidden” special offers and rewards.
We encourage using CSP’s to negotiate deals with other members for their goods and services.
While we recognize that this is by no means a replacement for an income earned as a professional journalist, or content creation, it is a step in the right direction as we build up this platform. And those who have the most CSP’s, as a direct result, will be those who have helped us reach our goals will be rewarded accordingly as we move ahead.
